LBMA Platinum and Palladium Price Actions
ICE Benchmark Administration Limited (IBA) will begin administering the LBMA Platinum and Palladium Price auctions and benchmarks from 1 July 2026
24 June 2026
The LBMA Platinum and Palladium Price benchmarks are the global benchmark prices for unallocated platinum and palladium delivered in London. ICE Benchmark Administration Limited (IBA) will begin administering the LBMA Platinum and Palladium Price auctions and benchmarks from 1 July 2026. A licence from IBA is required in order to obtain, use or redistribute real-time or historical LBMA Platinum and Palladium Price data from that date, including for pricing and valuation activities and in transactions and financial products. If you currently hold a licence from the London Metal Exchange (LME), the outgoing administrator which will cease administering the LBMA Platinum and Palladium Price auctions and benchmarks on 30 June 2026, you will need to obtain a new licence from IBA.
Please contact mark.mothner@ice.com and barnaby.newbury@ice.com for details on how to obtain the requisite licence and where to access the data. Please see IBA's website for further information.
In addition, LBMA and LPPM Members who hold a valid licence with IBA will be able to request access to historical PGM data on the LBMA Portal. Delayed daily price data for the previous day will be available on both LBMA’s and LPPM’s websites.
